All the words and messages we are taking in. It can feel quite exhausting some days. And others, exhilarating. These times of heightened feelings and emotions in so many ways.
Phrases like these. This is an opportunity. There is possibility. This is the time to be and become the best or better version of you. The time to start something new is now. There are so many creative projects you could be doing. Don't waste this time by doing nothing, but make use of this time by doing more.
Or not. What if instead, you simply allowed yourself to just BE. Maybe for the first time you've ever contemplated doing so. Just being. Not adding to anything. Not doing more. What if you just took things moment by moment, day by day.
This is my message from my heart to yours today.
As maybe, just maybe it's worth reflecting on this. And I mean, really reflecting on this, for yourself. You see, the best or better version of yourself may be the one you already are. Or maybe it's in knowing of who you are, right now, that really matters. Knowing who you really are - how you feel, how you live, how you love - in all the ways you never have before.
Or maybe it's not needing to find or make this time about being better at anything, at all. Maybe it's not a time to take up something new, but rather time to take in what you have already have and know. Perhaps a deep appreciation of this. Or a knowing of what it is that's truly important.
Maybe the opportunity and the possibilites lie in simply being with how you are, how you feel, how you manage and support yourself and others, just moment by moment and day by day. Because that may just be enough. More than enough. The best version of yourself may be to simply just be.
In some ways there can feel such a pressure or an expectation to use this time to our best advantage. I believe in this. But not in the way that I am rushing this isolation time to be as busy or as full as life may be in other ways.
I believe by using this time to my best advantage, is by simply slowing down, doing less, and honestly, in this way, I am achieving so much more. This deep, inner awareness and knowing of myself in an even more assured and certain way than ever before. The ways I know to serve myself. The ways I know to serve others. The opportunities within. The possibilities that reside within. The new ways I have to see myself, to know myself, to find an even deeper level of inner peace, to expand this knowledge into everything I do, and everything I am.
This is being the best version of me. Being with what is, and being willing to simply just be. Embracing with every single fibre of my being, that less is more.
There is an incredible opportunity in this time to know ourselves and to be with ourselves in a way we never have. Perhaps this is the bravest way to spend our time, as it can feel confronting to some. It's not distracting ourselves in ways we usually might. It can feel courageous to just accept, to simply be with what is, and to not need it to be anything else but only what is, right now.
Moment by moment. Day by day. See what expands and flows when the opportunities rise from within. No presure. No expectation. No busyness. There is no rush. No taking on more. Not feeling there is a time limit. Just stepping back, stepping within, and tuning into the here and now. This present moment and each day as it comes.
It's okay to just simply be. It's more than okay to slow down and to do nothing. Just as the seasons in nature come and go, we have this same yearning from ourselves within. This may be your opportunity to listen to yourself. What a possibility this is to know your own inner world and to find calm within.
How this will serve you and how this will serve others may be the richest journey you've ever chosen. The rewards may just be magical.
And you know what happens when we feel peace within - it expands and flows into everything we touch, everything we do, everyone we connect with - and this is the deep and beautiful signficance of life. It's by knowing ourselves that we can truly know and understand others. I breathe everything of myself and my whole being into this space.
