Just as my wellbeing and coaching support is unique ...I don't work in the same way as some other coaches and wellness practitioners do. My approach is holistic and unique to you, in every way, as an individual. I truly feel that it needs to be, and it should be. None of us are the same. We are all so very different and there is never one approach that will suit us all. I also feel it's your right - as an individual, as a client - to receive this level and quality of personalised care and support. Each of us as unique well beings, have our own body, mind, spirit and heart. We all live and experience things in very different ways.
True holistic support that brings sustainable and long lasting change, includes acknowledgement and compassion for you as a unique individual, meeting you exactly where you are and why, understanding your own experiences, and enouraging you to feel empowered within the process, every step along the way. This approach is so deeply important to me. I know what it feels like to not receive this personalised support and it's because of those experiences that every part of me is committed to this quality approach. I feel so passionately about coaching and working with my clients in this personalised way. I want you to feel empowered throughout it all, to support yourself to choose what is right and meaningful for you. And it excites me, as it means that we get to choose, together, how we work alongside each other, for your wellbeing. We create your own unique coaching program, in a way that feels truly personalised for you. I don't know the exact point that I decided this so deeply in my heart and my being. But I do know that through so many of my own lived experiences, my understanding of our own unique needs, has only grown and deepened. And my own understanding of what it means to receive and to offer truly holistic suppport has changed and evolved and become so very important to me. As a wellness practitioner and counsellor in private practice, I used to offer initial consultations and follow ups. That's what I was taught to do, so I did. As a life coach, I used to offer 3 month and 6 month programs. This felt normal and the standard way of doing things. And they're wonderful for some. But not for everyone. So, now I personally create each program with my clients to suit you. Instead, we have a conversation and we create together what will feel right for you. And if you don't know, that's even better, as we can have a conversation about that and I'm sure with the right questions and insights, we'll work out something that feels so supportive for you. I love this way of working with clients, tailoring each program just for you. You are involved and empowered as part of your own journey, choosing what's right for you, and supporting yourself. I'm just sitting alongside, encouraging you, questioning you, sometimes challenging you, but absolutely cheering you with all my heart, and with all my knowledge and skills over the years too, as to what feels right for you moving forward. I always coach in a way that supports you to support yourself and your wellbeing, in every way. I sat in an appointment myself just the other week. And I felt so disempowered. Which in that moment meant I felt that I wasn't seeen as an individual. I felt the person was 'going through the motions' or 'asking the right questions' and wanting for me to just be 'goal focussed'. I just didn't feel 'seen' or 'acknowledged' as my own unqiue person with my own mind, body, emotions, spirit and more. A truly holistic being. I've had many appointments like this, with medical practitioners, but also with wellness pracitioners and life coaches. And as time moves on, I understand even more, the deep significance of personal lived experiences over skills and qualifications and certificates - or at least, alongside. I cannot tell you how many learnt theories and behaviours I've tossed out the window when I've personally experienced and lived thrrough challenges of my own. All the text books I've thrown away. Literally. The ways we're taught to work with clients through various health conditions just feel so different when you live with something yourself. You just know more and understand more. How to support someone through grief and loss. We really have no idea how to truly do this if we haven't felt experiences of this ourselves. Or through life changes and transitions that sometimes feel as if they are turning our lives upside down. I feel so much that who we are as individuals, not just practitioners, and our own experiences are deeply valuable. Even if we don't talk about them with our clients (which I don't often unless it's relevant and they ask), just that 'knowing' can change so much. (I often say to myself, silently, when I'm with someone .... ah yes, me too, I've felt that way too .. I see you, I understand you, I hear you .. more than you know) All my lived experiences, along with years of supporting clients, are my reason for the compassion I feel, the way I believe so much in holding space for others and what this truly means, just how important deep listening is with intentional and mindful presence, and how to support someone in a truly holistic and personalised way. Compassion to me is being with someone in their experience - acknowleding the whole person within everything they feel and how life is for them - and this doesn't come through any qualification or certicate - it comes from the heart. If this resonates and you're seeking this holistic wellbeing and coaching support that's unique and personalised for you - the best way place of us to start is to just have a conversation. It's not a 15 minute free call or a free discovery call - I'm not into those at all. It's just a conversation for you to get to know me and for me to get to know you. And you just never know what one conversation can bring and what will change just from one insight or one question. I love conversations with people where there is no expectation or pressure, or any attachment to the outcome. If you're in Melbourne (where I currently am), then we can meet in person. Otherwise, we can have a conversation over skype, zoom or even a phone call. I work with just 6 clients at a time, because my coaching style is very unique and I love supporting you in a quality way. We create together, how we will work and what will best support you. This is so special to me and exciting. I love that you get to feel empowered through the whole process. I know that feeling of akcnowledgement and feeling empowered and when I've felt this way, with another, deep changes and shifts just naturally happen when we have a trusted rapport, and this is the way we feel supported to move forward. I spend quality time with my clients, in every way, through tailored programs. This is so important to me. And when you work with me, you get my full energy, atttention and support, in so many ways. I know how it feels to receive powerful support, and I know how life changing a compassionate and powerful conversation can be. I love these conversations so much. I'd love to have a conversation with you. I love coaching clients to make powerful changes in their hearts and in their lives with all aspects of wellbeing and what this means for you. would love to get to know you, and for you to get to know me. Send me an email and I'm here for you. With love x Katie
